great motel in new plymouth

Comfy ground floor studio with a spa bath, really enjoyed that relaxing soak. Room had a fridge, microwave, and a nice dining table. Great for convenience with cafes nearby. Owner was super accommodating about storing our motorcycle undercover. Location was close to Pack n Save and the city center, making it super easy to grab meals.

The spacious room with its modern decor was charming and welcoming, making it easy for me to navigate comfortably. The accessible layout ensured I had everything within reach, which made my stay pleasant and stress-free.

Additional pillows would be lovely for comfort.

The room was super clean and cozy. Bed was comfy, which was a huge plus. The air conditioning worked great, keeping things nice in chilly weather. Loved the little kitchenette setup with a microwave and fridge. Big shoutout for the strong shower and tons of bath towels. The only bummer was the microwave being a bit high. careful with that if you're getting something hot out of it. Overall, felt very homey!

The hotel had great relaxation options like a relaxing film in their large lounge and nice hot showers to wind down after a long day. Just a heads up, parking could be a bit tight, so plan ahead when you arrive! 😊

The place had a lovely, clean room with friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, even giving us chocolates for Easter. However, the early morning noise from the loading bay was a bit disruptive at times.

Just a good pick for a short stay in New Plymouth with extraordinarily good value for money. The friendly hosts welcomed us with muffins and coffee, a nice touch. Be prepared for a cozy living area if you’re with another couple.

I had a fantastic experience at the motel, enjoying easy access to the stunning Pukekura Park just a 500-meter stroll away and the vibrant Govett-Brewster Art Gallery a little over a kilometer from my room, making my city walks so enjoyable and memorable.
